MPS Monarch
Advanced Mobility Systems of Texas is proud to be an authorized dealer for MPS Hand Controls. The MPS-1A is often recommended by rehabilitation driving specialists because it uses a natural method for brake and accelerator movement. It is almost a "must" for a person with severe hand and wrist weakness.

The MSP Monarch-1A is a smooth operator, offering miles and miles of relaxed driving. The brake is applied by pushing the operating handle toward the brake pedal. Moving the handle toward the drivers seat activates the accelerator. The brake and accelerator may be operated separately or simultaneously. Installation of the MSP-1A requires a minimum modification to the vehicle. It may be used for either right or left hand operation. It does require an automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes.

Brake Only Option:
The brake only control is available for persons with sufficient foot motion and strength to operate the accelerator but not the brake. Should an accelerator control become necessary, the needed components can be added to the existing control.

Toggle Type Dimmer Switch and Horn Button:
A toggle type dimmer switch and separate Horn Button are available for use with “Monarch Mark 1-A” or brake only hand control.

Menox Hand Controls

The Menox Hand Control is designed to give physically limited drivers the benefit of control and ease when driving a vehicle. It is designed to be used by the right hand as in traditional shift. The Menox operates in one straight and ergonomic range of motion so that accelerating and braking are distinctive and easy to use in the flow of traffic.

Pushing forward engages the brake and easing back accelerates. When using the multi-function grip, the driver maximizes his ability to control other operations such as: lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, horn, etc from the same hand grip.

Each Menox handle comes with a logical brake latch which holds the brake pedal down when applied. This frees the hand at traffic lights, allowing you to change gears or tune the radio. The cruise control or horn may also be operated from this same rocker switch.

The Menox design is simple and durable. Minimal hardware is required for installation leaving the driver with extensive leg room. With no protruding bars or bolts, access in or out of the vehicle is unobstructed.

EMC Digital Systems
The EMC Digital Systems are designed to enable those with severe physical limitations to operate a vehicle. The use of these systems require special training and because they require a significant modification to the vehicle, are expensive. The vehicle steering may be modified to reduce the effort required to use the standard wheel or a much smaller wheel using wrist action or it may be changed to use a joy stick. The other (secondary) controls may be arranged for control by specially placed switches, a digital touch-pad or a combination of both.

The controls offered by EMC are virtually unlimited for anyone who acquires the necessary training and can afford the cost.
